Measles
An excellent summary of measles in 20th century America
Prior to the vaccine, 3-4 million cases of measles occured in the United States each year. True.
Also true, however, is that of those 3-4 million cases, only about 450 people died each year from it in the years before the vaccine.
The CDC claims that around 1 or 2 out of a thousand people who get measles will die from measles.
Well, as early as 1932, doctors began using cod-liver oil (high in vitamin A) to treat measles and ended up lowering the mortality rate significantly. In 1990, the New England Journal of Medicine confirmed that vitamin A supplements significantly reduce measles complications and death rates."

Top vaccine researcher finds measles vaccine ineffective, cannot eradicate measles
This is an analysis of measles vaccines by the editor of the journal, "Vaccine." He is also an employee of the measles vaccine manufacturer, Merck.
He acknowledges the inability of the vaccine to eradicate measles. He acknowledges that the vaccine does not work very well at all, and that many if not most cases of measles in highly vaccinated populations are in vaccinated people.
Instead of questioning measles vaccination, after fifty two years of failure, he declares that the solution is a better vaccine.

Measles Outbreak in Fully Vaccinated Population
In this outbreak in 1983 all the students were vaccinated. The outbreak did not spread to the town, which we must assume was full of non vaccinated people, as the vaccine was only introduced in 1963.

Despite 99% vaccination coverage there are still thousands of cases of measles, mumps and rubella in Zhejiang Province, China.

This outbreak at a college in Colorado occurred in 1988 among a nearly fully vaccinated population. 83% of measles cases had records of vaccination. The authors of the study, from the CDC team studying the outbreak, concluded thusly:
"As in secondary schools, measles outbreaks can occur among highly vaccinated college populations."

Measles Vaccine Causes Measles, But Doesn't Count in the Statistics
This infant came down with measles. After laboratory testing determined it was caused by the vaccine they announced it was not measles and encouraged everybody to get vaccinated to prevent measles.

Immune Compromised Child Gets Measles From Vaccine
Measles vaccine is a risk factor for bowel disease later in life
Researchers at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London found, in a study of over 17,000 people published in 1995,
a 253% higher level of incidence of ulcerative colitis
a 301% higher level of incidence of Crohn's disease
in people who were vaccinated thirty one years earlier in 1964 over people who were not vaccinated for measles.

Vaccinated People Getting and Spreading Measles
This outbreak in NYC in 2014 occurred among fully vaccinated people.

The Measles Outbreak: An in depth interview with a leading expert on vaccine science
This is a wide ranging interview on the issue of vaccines with Dr. Suzanne Humphries. She is a nephrologits (kidney specialist) and former medical school professor who walked away from her lucrative career when she found her dialysis patients dying from vaccines. She has spent the past four years pouring over the vaccine research of the past two centuries and is one of the leading experts, world wide. Here she discusses the "measles outbreak" of 2015, the research linking the measles vaccine to autism, the concept of herd immunity, the nature of vaccine research funding and the way vaccines and vaccine research are portrayed in the media. She touches on some of the central points of discussion in the issue of infectious diseases and vaccination.

Measles in Africa: Vaccines cause death, Vitamin A saves lives
Here is a report from a WHO meeting in Banjul, Gambia in 1993. They discussed ways of treating measles in poor countries.
On page 17 they note that rates of death among girls rise significantly for months after measles vaccination campaigns.
From page 42 to page 47 they compare the outcomes of antibiotic treatment and vitamin A treatment. While vitamin A is found to reduce mortality by about 75% in impoverished places, the evidence on antibiotics is unclear at best. Vitamin A also reduces morbidity significantly.
On page 23 they note that the high risk groups include the severely malnourished, children whose mothers are HIV positive and those living in refuge camps and war zones.

Measles Vaccine Associated with Brain Auto Immunity
"Many autistic children harbored brain myelin basic protein autoantibodies and elevated levels of antibodies to measles virus and measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine.
Measles might be etiologically linked to autism because measles and MMR antibodies (a viral marker) correlated positively to brain autoantibodies (an autoimmune marker)--salient features that characterize autoimmune pathology in autism."

Elevated Measles Antibodies in Autistic Children
"The level of measles antibody was significantly higher in autistic children as compared with normal children or siblings of autistic children.
The antibody to this antigen was found in 83% of autistic children but not in normal children or siblings of autistic children.
Thus autistic children have a hyper immune response to measles virus, which in the absence of a wild type of measles infection might be a sign of an abnormal immune reaction to the vaccine strain or virus reactivation."

MMR antibodies were found in 60% of autistic kids, 0% of non autistic kids.
90% of them also had antibodies to their own brains.
