Mercury in Vaccines Linked to Autism
"This review found 91 studies that examine the potential relationship between mercury and ASD [Autism Spectrum Disorders] from 1999 to February, 2016. Of these studies, the vast majority (74%) suggest that mercury is a risk factor for ASD, revealing both direct and indirect effects. The preponderance of the evidence indicates that mercury exposure is causal and/or contributory in ASD."

Gender Selectivity of Thimerosal Poisoning Supports Link to Autism Diagnosis
"A recent report shows a correlation of the historical use of thimerosal in therapeutic immunizations with the subsequent development of autism; however, this association remains controversial. Autism occurs approximately four times more frequently in males compared to females; thus, studies of thimerosal toxicity should take into consideration gender-selective effects.
Our studies, although not directly addressing the controversy surrounding thimerosal and autism, and still preliminary due to small numbers of mice examined, provide, nevertheless, the first report of gender-selective toxicity of thimerosal and indicate that any future studies of thimerosal toxicity should take into consideration gender-specific differences."

"Mercury exposure (of pregnant mothers) resulted in a delayed startle response and decreased motor learning (in newborns). It also resulted in a significant increase in cerebellar levels of the oxidative stress marker 3-nitrotyrosine."

Mercury Load and Detox Deficiencies Tied to Autism in Case Studies
"Hair mercury levels in the autistic group were 0.47 ppm versus 3.63 ppm in controls, a significant difference. The mothers in the autistic group had significantly higher levels of mercury exposure through Rho D immunoglobulin injections and amalgam fillings than control mothers.
Hair mercury levels among controls were significantly correlated with the number of the mothers' amalgam fillings and their fish consumption as well as exposure to mercury through childhood vaccines, correlations that were absent in the autistic group. Hair excretion patterns among autistic infants were significantly reduced relative to control."

720% Increase in Symptoms of Brain Damage with Mercury Containing Vaccines
"It was determined that there were significantly increased odds ratios for autism (+80%), mental retardation (+160%), speech disorder (+110%), personality disorders (+160%), and thinking abnormality (+720%) adverse events reported to the VAERS following thimerosal-containing DTaP vaccines in comparison to thimerosal-free DTaP vaccines."

"The administration of thimerosal in doses equivalent to vaccines content was associated with low corporal weight, low encephalon weight and smaller stature in postnatal hamsters.

"Children with ASD experience significantly more general GI symptoms than comparison groups, with a standardized mean difference of 0.82 (0.24) and a corresponding odds ratio (OR) of 4.42 (95% CI, 1.90–10.28). Analysis also indicated higher rates of diarrhea (OR, 3.63; 95% CI, 1.82–7.23), constipation (OR, 3.86; 95% CI, 2.23–6.71), and abdominal pain (OR, 2.45; 95% CI, 1.19–5.07)."
